For optimal results, we recommend a normal 85mm or longer lens or a zoom. But don't worry if you don't have one, wide-angle lenses are also welcome as there will be discussions and practice involving environmental portraits as well.

We will start at city park and use the camera as an observation tool. In this session we will learn how to capture the moment - whether it is people or transport taken within the shot. We will continue to walk around town, capturing shots in colour and black and white of people - whether they are shoppers, vendors or street performance artists. We will also look around Bradford and look for interesting visuals - a shop window, a staircase a pigeon looking for its next meal!
