I just love a good sunset and sunrise. This was actually taken from my front garden, I was making dinner and noticed how beautiful the setting sun was so rushed out to get a shot. I loved the silhouette of the silver birch leaves against the backdrop of the sun.

I love photographing in the city of Wakefield. Even places that I've been multiple times, it always seems there is a different view to get. Weather and season also makes a big difference. This was taken on a morning in May when the weather was lovely. I've not seen the water of the canal so still in a while and I loved the constellation of buildings together with the calm water.

I loved the detail on this lizard. However, the background was very similar to the lizard body colour. In Lightroom I picked a background preset which toned it down somewhat, but not enough. So created a mask and turned down the background even further. A little ?pop? on the lizard skin and I was finished. I hope you like it.
